What a great picture of Rowland, and that is exactly how I will always remember him, with that exact smile on his face. Our family members have always thought of Rowland and Vilas as part of our family. They were good, salt of the earth people just like our own parents. After Vilas passed, when Charlie and Joan came "back home" to visit, we often would go out to dinner with them and they would usually bring Rowland along. We always so enjoyed seeing him and visiting with him. He will be dearly missed but it is a comfort to know he is with The Lord and reunited with Vilas and he no longer has to endure any pain. The Lord has him in His keeping. We have him in our hearts! Sending love and sympathy to all of his loved ones.
