Sharon Sneath

September 11, 1938 – September 28, 2025

Sharon Sneath, age 87, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 11, 1938, in La Crosse, WI, to John C. Minor and Aldona (Moen) Minor. Sharon was married to Robert S. Schultz, and later divorced. On November 21, 1997, she married Robert Sneath, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Sharon devoted many years of her life to caring for others as an ICU nurse at Gundersen Lutheran, where she was admired for her compassion and dedication. After retiring, she fully embraced life—traveling with Bob in their RV to Texas and enjoying many cherished years as snowbirds. Together, they shared a love for adventure, especially riding their Harley-Davidson on countless memorable trips to Sturgis. Sharon also found great joy in gardening with her husband, taking particular pride in her vibrant flower beds, which she lovingly tended with care and devotion.

A lifelong animal lover, Sharon had a special fondness for her cats and delighted in sharing stories about their antics, always enjoying hearing about others’ furry companions as well.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Robert Sneath; her son, Alan (Kimberly) Schulze of Patriot, Ohio; and stepchildren: Sheila Morrison of La Crosse, Robin (Victoria Potaracke) Sneath of La Crosse, and Kathy (Randy) Wagner of West Salem, WI.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Stephanie Kumar-Condrack of Texas, Emily (Tony) Meyer of La Crosse, Samantha (Justin Godlewski) Morrison of West Salem, Jerry (Lucy Kujak) Morrison of La Crosse, Randy (Stephanie) Wanger of West Salem, Ryan (Abby Friell) Sneath of La Crosse, and Tia (Jackson Weiland) Sneath of Minneapolis; Seven great-grandchildren; her beloved cat, Boober; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Leon Minor; and her stepdaughter-in-law, Sandy Sneath.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be provided. Memorials may be made to the Coulee Region Humane Society in her honor.

Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures—traveling, tending to her flowers, and spending time with those she loved.
