Obituary for Beulah Mae Sanders

Beulah Mae (Schultz) Sanders - September 14, 1927 - October 22, 2025

Our family has lost a beloved member. Our loss is truly Heaven’s gain.

John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Beulah’s soul is safe and secure with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who called her home.

We, as long as life and memory last, will remember Beulah’s sweet smile, her sense of humor, her kind and loving heart, and her forgiving and gentle nature.

Beulah was born on September 14, 1927, to William and Ethel (Kroll) Schultz. Beulah grew up well. She was always a good worker, willing and eager to learn and ready to help wherever a helping hand and willing heart was needed. Family was the most important thing in the world. That is the way she lived her whole life.

Beulah married Charles Sanders in the Lutheran church on June 30, 1951. In the mid 50’s they purchased a farm in a quiet coulee of rural Mindoro. This would be the family home for almost 66 years. Many happy occasions were held there with family and friends. Charlie and Beulah enjoyed raising their children there. They cared for all the farm animals and planting and harvesting farm crops and a garden. They enjoyed and loved the dogs and cats that came into their lives and each one became a member of the family.

Beulah was a wonderful home cook and baker of marvelous tasty treats. She loved flowers outside and house plants too. The family enjoyed the wild animals that came by and the birds that came for a snack.

Beulah worked at Auto-Lite for 12 years. Then she worked at The Company Store for 42 years, retiring in 2005.

Beulah is survived by two sisters, Edwina (Maurice) Olson and Ruth (Delmar) Donskey and one brother, William Schultz and his wife, Carrie. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. Beulah dearly loved every one of you. Your support and love has been unwavering. Your love and caring made the unbearable bearable.

Loved ones ready to greet Beulah in Heaven are her dad and mom, William and Ethel (Kroll) Schultz; husband, Charlie and their children, Karen, Carolyn, and Mark; sisters and brothers, Blanche (Elmer) Wagner, Ines (Herman) Dinger, Eveline (Henry) Schmitz, Margaret (George) Semann, Marion (Peter) Semann, Harvey (Ann) Schultz, Leo (Catherine) Schultz, Kermit Schultz, Theodore Schultz, Ervin Schultz, and Victor Schultz; and many other family members and friends.

Beulah cherished her family at Halfway Creek Lutheran Church. Every card, every visit always made her day very special. She always said, “They didn’t forget me.”

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Halfway Creek Lutheran Church, rural Holmen. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service, Wednesday, at the church.

To family and friends wishing to give a monetary memorial in honor of Beulah’s memory at this time, memorials will go to Fredrickson Funeral Home to help with costs.
