Obituary for Leanne Bruemmer

Leanne was born June 26, 1950 in La Crosse, WI to Warren and Goldie Waller. She graduated from West Salem High School in 1968.

She married Marvin Harold Bruemmer on September 21, 1969, making their home in the West Salem area.

Leanne worked as homemaker and many projects at Church while Marvin worked the farm. Later she worked in the office at Modern Crane, Wal-Mart, Brenengen Chevrolet, and was the legal guardian and care giver for her brother Mike.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, chatting and playing cards. Doing ceramics with her mother Fern, going to the casino with her sister Linda, and out to lunch with her dear friend Jean. Leanne would spend time attending basketball games of her granddaughter Carly and the various sporting events of her great nephews with Chad and Paula.

Leanne is survived by her husband Marvin Bruemmer, son Brad(Angie) Bruemmer, sister Sue(Donny Kneifl) Anderson, granddaughter Carly(Steven Jacobs) Bruemmer, Keaton(Sadie) Misch, Kolton(Jazmin) Mattison, Caleb Mattison, great granddaughter Olivia, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son Brian Bruemmer, parents Warren and Goldie Waller, siblings Linda McCumber, Warren(Buster) Waller, and Mike Waller.

A Celebration of Life will be held at WestView Inn in West Salem, WI on Saturday April 11th, 2026 from 1PM – 4PM.
