Obituary for Ronda M. Varney

Ronda Marie (Lietzau) Varney, age 58, passed away surrounded by love on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born February 14, 1968, which is more than fitting as she was a true sweetheart, full of warmth, love, and joy. Ronda graduated from Caledonia High School in 1986 and found a fulfilling career as a radiographer. Ronda had a deep adoration for many things in life, but at the top of the list were God and family. Her faith was steadfast and she whole heartedly knew she was being called home.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; two sons, Jackson and Immanuel; chosen daughter, Kalie; mother, Joan; stepson, Zachary; stepson, Alex (Taylor); three grandchildren; three brothers, Marc, Todd (Molly), and Ryan (Jennifer); and many nephews and nieces who adored her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lietzau.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on May 16, 2026, at the Brownsville Community Center, 104 N. 6th St., Brownsville, Minn. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow.

A visitaiton will be held from 9 a.m., until the time of service, May 16, at the community center.
