Obituary for Ruth (Palutke) Finch Faulhaber

She was born October 25, 1938, in Wilton, WI., to Albert and Christine (Bartel) Palutke. Ruth graduated from Central High School in La Crosse in 1956. She was employed at Moen Photo and then American Photo, both for several years. Ruth was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in La Crosse. She was a member of the Eagles Auxilliary and the Hillview Auxilliary.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Jackie Gerke and Lucille Finch; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Finch; her second husband, Donald Faulhaber; and her brother, John Palutke.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4141 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse. Rev. Harald Bringsjord will officiate. Private entombment will be in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, La Crosse.
